This project involved major alterations and additions to a Woollahra terrace in a prime location.  The entire terrace was completely stripped out and constructed as a new house within an existing shell.

A steel staircase creates the spine of the house, interconnecting over the three storeys, featuring steel portals which act as a transition zone between spaces.  This was challenging to work the geometry into the existing terrace structure.

At the rear of the terrace there is a tranquil private courtyard, beautifully nestled by the new garage/ studio structure.
