PADDINGTON

TERRACE

This classic Paddington Terrace has had a complete transformation into a four storey residence with immaculately detailed finishing.

A feature of this home is the staircase spanning over three levels.  The structure of this stair is a steel fin which is clad in laser cut raw mild steel with a waxed finish.  This was a highly complex element which looks deceptively simple now it is complete.  Blackbutt timber slatted floors leading to the stairs transition one space to the next.

The front of the terrace was carefully restored in order to retain original features, with the installation of steel framed windows at the rear to tie in the modern elements of the internal fit out. Extensive excavation in rock was undertaken in order to create a basement space and garage.
