PADDINGTON
HOUSE
This project involved extensive renovation and restoration of an existing heritage home in Paddington.
This house features many architectural elements including board off form concrete walls and ceilings, large custom made timber windows & doors, ornate timber detailing both internally and externally.
The new extension at the rear is clad in a wall of operable shutters, with ornate traditional detailing to the timber elements below. This contrasts with the modern off form concrete walls and ceiling, providing a seamless transition between old and new.
The central staircase is a main feature that has an exceptional custom metalwork balustrade and also serves as a light well.
